Live cam of the CZ right now:

HAHAHA ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME

I would say it's good news because hopefully they're working out some kind of deal, whether it be NBC or a pick up elsewhere or…whatever.

*everyone vomits simultaneously*

There was a rumor a few weeks back that Sony would take the show to Hulu and cable if NBC didn't renew.

It's definitely a possibility. I feel pretty confident we'll get *something* else from this show, whether it be a Kickstarter-funded movie of some sort or a season on Hulu or cable.

Obviously Hulu assumed the show was getting renewed, like *everyone* did.

Television is the WORST.

Can we at least get a better picture?

Probably not.

It just seems inexplicable to me that a show with such a vocal and passionate fanbase struggles to survive every year. This is why I'm glad network TV is dying.

Generally I am very anti network boycotts because it's silly but if NBC does cancel both Community and Hannibal I'm going to feel weird watching it next year.

In all honesty I don't care *that* much about the prophecy. I just think, after making it through years of being jerked around the schedule and being pushed in 19 different directions over and over again, the show has earned some kind of proper farewell for dealing with all of the bullshit and being a viable asset

They've also said the school is only like 40 minutes away, so he could *technically* even commute. (Having him drop out might be better though, because it really doesn't seem like college is Axl's thing).

I was kind of impressed at how the show actually questioned the whole "overprotective dad" trope with this episode, allowing Sue to fight back for herself a little bit and questioning why Axl didn't get the same treatment. Not necessarily what you would expect from a family sitcom.

I'm getting extremely frustrated with Axl - I really don't think his college storyline has worked at all. It doesn't help that the shows' depiction of college is straight out of a bad '80s movie, but the generic C-plots he typically gets stuck with are extremely tacked on, especially considering they usually have

Obviously a promising show in its second season would be a greater loss than a show past its prime in its fifth season. But NBC cancelling Community *now* would be kind of infuriating to me.

I just really like when Community plays with its dark side. The big episodes like App Development are fun but I'll take the quiet, contemplative episodes like Bondage over it any day. I realize that I am a rarity. (Though of course, the episodes that blend both sides - like AUC and AD&D - are truly aces).

I love the little joke of Troy's Republican raps in Football, Feminism and You. YOUR NAME'S AL GORE CAUSE YOUR VIEWS ARE WRONG

Season 1 is *so fucking good* and it makes me angry when people act like it was just a typical sitcom back then. What S1 did with the sitcom formula was just as interesting and fresh as what the show would do with it in later seasons, even if it wasn't as flashy.
