Just saw it yesterday and all the glowing praise it's receiving is well-deserved. Powerful, poetic, emotional - to quote Han Solo, "It's all true." The performances are uniformly excellent, but Ali and Harris' stood out to me in particular and it would be criminal if they were overlooked.
I thought he was terrific in The Ghost Writer, which is itself a very underrated political thriller

I don't like musicals either, but actually really enjoy this show. The lyrics are funny and bizarre in the best way. Give it a shot.
I happened to catch one during the baseball playoffs the other day. It had a bunch of women talking about Trump protecting their rights, but I think it was actually about gun control as opposed to reproductive rights. It played like satire, though sadly it had the kind of incoherent "logic" that conservatives love.
Stay away from all Wal-Marts, liquor stores, low-end pharmacies, trailer parks, wrestling and NASCAR events, and I think you should be fine.
