Aly and Winston are easily the best thing on the show right now.

That's a Toyota, fwiw.
Jess is basically ruining this show for me. I haven't enjoyed it that much since she came back and Megan Fox departed. She's a repetitive, pointlessly "zany" character (in a way that the others aren't to me, which i will now hand wave away). I really wish she would go away and let Winston and CeCe come to the…
Given that Dom literally talks about pythons laying in wait and how they called it a python strategy, I think you're the confused one here.
Built the pyramids!
Built the Parthenon!
Built America!
I definitely didn't dig the episode overall either. But the capper of the lunch cracked me up so much that I ended up giving it a pass.
This comment is so wrong.
The original set my personal record for Highest Enjoyment Relative to My Expectations, so I'll probably end up seeing this.
The whole Stoic thing kinda killed HTTYD2 for me.
Surprised by the love for this album. I'm really not excited about a lot of it, especially since the single release of Make You Better had me very pumped to hear it. Gave it a solid runthrough on a long drive alone today after listening multiple times during work, and while a few songs really grew on me (Singer…
I dispute that Lake Song could be the worst song, because "Better Not Wake The Baby" is on this album. I wish I could somehow mark that track to auto-skip.
Yeah, that transition was brutal. I go back and revisit Tarantino's review of the film periodically so I can feel better.
Wow, good spot. Somehow I never put that together.
Saw her show in DC this year. I liked Tori a lot in the sense that Under The Pink was an absolute all-time favorite album, and I was familiar with Choirgirl Hotel and Beekeeper/Scarlet's Walk, but that's it. I was lucky enough to land a second row ticket and was absolutely stunned by the emotion and intensity of the…
Pep But was standing on a rooftop glaring at the van after Peacemaster got out. I wouldn't put it past Pep But to have had a hand in the outcome.
I wasn't put off, but I definitely was very sympathetic to Peacemaster, and Oliver's reading of the episode seems to paint Peacemaster badly when it doesn't seem to be true.
All Breezy could make me think of was that "friend zone" nonsense you normally hear from dudes. Breezy was the typical "I'm totally there for you" jerk and it basically ruined whatever romance there was supposed to be for me.
What "butthurt?" Where did I say I like any of the bands he mentions? I'm just tired of unfunny "ugh these bands suck" or "these bands fucked up" articles. If articles with takedowns of Metallica or The Rolling Stones - two bands I really couldn't give a shit about and haven't listened to in years, not in a "I…
Look, AV Club. If you're going to keep trotting out "things that suck" nonsense like Hatesong and this article, can we just get David Thorpe back in the game and revive the old Your Band Sucks articles from Something Awful? At least those were both funny and self-aware. Hatesong and this article just read like…
The World's End was none of those things. The narrative was dull, the characters were morons acting out a plot telegraphed from miles away, and it certainly wasn't particularly intelligent.
