Fandom_wank! Man, I need to get back in the habit of reading that site; I've gotten so much point-and-laugh amusement from it over the years. Ah, the days when Lord of the Rings were big…those were the glory days of crazy. But there's basically always something entertaining goingon.

He did present him moving in as a foregone conclusion, though, and at one point said, "so I'm moving in! Give me one reason why I shouldn't." That's both obnoxious and reveals that he was at least a little aware that she wasn't comfortable with the idea.

That's a good idea…I've never actually had this happen before, so it's pretty unsettling. Usually I just get sick *immediately* if I'm going to, not all this build up. Maybe this is a sign my immune system is actually getting unterrible!

Ooh, that sounds really great!

My random bitchery: I'm a-bit-but-not-too sick, which isn't so bad, but unfortunately comes with swollen lymph nodes on the back of my neck. It's fairly unpleasant. You better work, antibiotics!

I missed the 'parallel' in that sentence and read it as Joseph Gordon-Levitt being considered for the female lead for Captain America.

Count me in as someone who still loves Due South. I'm an Original Ray partisan, but they were both pretty great.

"Live From Studio 6H" had the greatest laugh I've ever gotten from a one-word joke. I've watched the Alfie & Abner sketch I don't know how many times, but I never fail to lose my shit when Jon Hamm shouts "Banjo!!"

Oh, Top Chef. Sometimes I think you don't want me to watch you.

If so, that's a poor decision on the team's part - Lizzie's okay and all, but Brooke's clearly been the better chef and it's not like Lizzie's too obnoxious for that role like Josie is.

The Academy also did not want people to think they were still too pro-Affleck. That kind of things was acceptable in the years immediately post-9/11, but it's rightfully considered shameful now.

I like the format change to restaurant wars, with selected executive chefs setting the concept and the strategy involved in picking a team knowing you could end up short-handed (though Kristin choosing Josie was still madness, even if she did it guessing Micah would be sent home; I'd rather have only two people than

It almost certainly would be better to have no one than to have to deal with Josie - 'empty cooking station' wouldn't constantly be creating messes for you to have to fix, and wouldn't obviously be waiting to blame you for anything that goes wrong.

For me it was how offended she was that the kids wanted to spend time with their dad more. My mother, to this day, will go on about an incident when I was four, when she asked if I'd take care of my dad when he was old. I said yes, that I'd make him peanut butter sandwiches and take him to the library. When she asked

It's amazing how realistic the character dynamics can be while everything gets so OTT and silly. Linda reminded me so much of my mother that it was kind of shocking.

Aw, hope all is well soon for the poor little guy!

Not sure yet, but probably online - I live in Maryland, and the main campus of UMD has a pretty good online course slate. And I went to the regular school briefly in 2005, so they hopefully still have my transcript on file.

I actually got lucky with that, as well - the airline representative told me that I'd have to pay the $250 change fee at check-in, but they never asked me for it and so I didn't have to pay. So really my only charges were for the taxi, though there was also the inconvenience/stress of having to reschedule and the

Thanks! I loved the Antarctica part of the trip a lot.

My main resolution is to work toward getting my Bachelor's degree - I left school after getting about halfway there, and I don't think it's hurt my career much so far but it certainly could in the future. And, well, it'd certainly be nice to have - I have aunts and uncles and cousins with degrees (a few graduate), but
