Probably true. I think the idea was that, since more people watch TV at 9 than 8 (if only because the 8 PM shows come on at 7 in some timezones, when people are still coming home from work), they'd put the more accessible episodes then. Not that that seemed to work, considering the total viewers actually went down a

Kenneth getting dark is a rare thing, but I love it every time it happens. Also, Tracy and Jenna's bizarre movies/shows are always perfect. (One of my favorite lesser-mentioned ones was Jenna's werewolf movie filmed in the summer in Iceland for tax reasons.)

I generally dislike the writers in anything but small doses, so that was an improvement on last season for me. But I'd agree that they could use more Pete.

…does it have to be show vs. show? They're both pretty great. I'd agree 30 Rock has funnier jokes, but Community tends to be more willing to try weird new things and has more strong characters (30 Rock mostly focuses on Liz, Jack, Tracy and Jenna with everyone else in the background). They work pretty well

I didn't take it as that they stayed together for the kid so much as their old-fashioned conservative sides kind of demanding that, well, she's pregnant so getting married is just what you have to do. And, of course, once they were married they're both stubborn enough to hold on as long as they could.

It didn't seemed to be planned at the time, but if so I have to give them some credit. I've been a bit annoyed by how they treated Jack's love life, as they never seemed in the past to entirely realize how screwed up it was (well, not since season 1's Bianca and Phoebe, anyway). This season they've shown a lot more

Energy drinks are probably the worst tasting things in the world, but I'd still try this.

I was doing okay with the first four questions, but the fifth…I can't even venture a guess. Okay, AV Club, you beat me, damn your eyes.

It's weird that they changed Green Lantern's love interest's name for the show - her name is Dinah Lance. Is Dinah just too old-fashioned a name for the CW to deal with?

I enjoyed the finale of BSG because the sheer absurdity of everything going on made it one of the things I've laughed the hardest at in my adult life. I was CRYING with laughter.

I'll agree on the patients' dullness, but I thought the girlfriend was awful - complaining that your boyfriend never told you he had a dead brother with "but you know *my* family!" is weird, but I guess forgivable. But doing it while he was in the hospital being treated for a terrible mystery ailment is just too much

Huh, season 5, really? I thought the general consensus (and my opinion, for whatever that's worth) is that it was the worst one the show's ever done. For me, the Robin/Don plotline was the show's worst ever relationship plot.

I just caught the episode where the first revealed that Barney was getting married in syndication, and Ted got caught in the rain before going in to see him.

I don't know, I don't think it's Robin and Barney together that sucked - the build-up to the relationship was pretty great in s3-4, and I think they at least have potential to work - so much as it was that the writers/producers at that point weren't willing to make an actual *change,* that would stick. So they felt

Everyone knows what it is because internet fandom/fanfiction are becoming kinda almost a bit mainstream. (There are dozens of us! Dozens!)
