I hate Thomas Pynchon novels. I feel as if I should like his work, since I generally enjoy quirky and absurd literature rife with symbolism and such, but I just can't get into his work. It doesn't hurt that most of the people I know who like Pynchon are unrepentant douchenozzles. Seriously.

I don't think I need to see a movie that forces me to relive every awkward relationship I've ever had with another geek/nerd. I mean, they're ultimately fulfilling, but the courting stage is painful to remember at some points.
