Really glad the show didn't bring up Xo sleeping with Esteban last week. It would've been too much like that plotline at the end of last season where Xo accidently kissed the hot soccer dad and when she told Rogelio he basically slut-shamed her.

Like I said earlier, a lot of the stuff felt tonally all over the stuff so a few things, mainly Xo and Jane's fallout at the end, just felt odd. I had to watch this show as an assignment for a feature writing class and man was that one of the most fun assignments I've ever done.

I love this show and thought this episode was exhilarating. Yeah it's juvenile, but it's so committed to it and the cast (particularly Melissa Benoist) is so good how can I not love it?

This was another episode that frustrated the hell out of me as I watched it.
