My big complaint remains as well: that awful voice Clare Bowen is affecting.

Finally, someone is taking those unfulfilled youth down a peg!

Scott and Mantzoukas did exactly the same thing to Bill Carter @trainertothestarsseekingstars.org and Patrick McMahon, Irish storyteller, as they did to the Mayor of Hollywood. They steered Bill Carter into being a Satanic murderer and forced Patrick McMahon to improvise limericks.

Peele was shockingly bad on CBB. Maybe next time he ought to pick a character that isn't an impression of a reality contestant nobody cares about with one shallow joke. And maybe Scott will actually push him to be funny instead of letting him drag ever onward.

Haley disaster
So everyone knows Haley was a complete disaster, right? She didn't even try to hit the notes on the chorus, and had to strain to hit what little she did. She doesn't have a big or versatile voice and the song requires both.
Cold open
Painful. Think its hilarious when two idiots talk over each other in the same room? How about five minutes of it? Ha, ha, they don't realize they're talking to each other on the phone! Even though the rest of the episode completely abandoned the "Deangelo is an idiot" point established there! Ha, ha!

bottom 3
This was probably the first night I've earnestly liked James, but I still don't see how he has an audience. The crowd wasn't into Heavy Metal AT ALL during his performance. It would be a "SHOCKING UPSET" if he was in the bottom 3 but it wouldn't surprise me at all.
Sick of Casey
Casey's high point this season is going to be Smells Like Teen Spirit. After his disaster Grapevine performance and judges' save, he's just been completely bland and desperate. You can see the yearning to not get voted off again every time he's looked at the camera the past two weeks.
"I wish Randy had stuck by his word and kicked out the guy who read the lyrics off his hand…"
That's not what happened, is it? I remember them kicking off everyone but Corey and someone else. Am I wrong?
that Muscle Shoals sound
I'm not sure how you can review this album and think that jammy songs are the main idea, and not the actual entire conceit of the album, the country-soul vibe. And I have no idea how you can file away a song like Where's Eddie under Shonna's "slight contributions".
"multiple-Grammy nominated"
not so fast, Zulkey!
"their outfits too down-home-tailored"
nope, Zulkey, thats just how we dress in Nashville.
Will's documents
They were mostly just names and addresses, which led him to discover the Atlas McDowell office. One of them had a note about MKULTRA in the margins, though. What does Ed know..?
