Moore's artwork is terrific. It's very detailed and he does a nice job of designing a distinctive look for each character. He has a real knack for compelling panel-to-panel storytelling which is especially evident in the first issue.

I'm talking about contemporary artists like Salvador Larroca, Greg Land, and Mike Deodato. They basically trace photos. Maybe Samnee uses photoreference, but if so, he does it in a way that does not detract from his storytelling.
