Dollhouse isn't the greatest but it definitely has some interesting ideas. I'm disappointed that Kranz and Gjokaj aren't bigger stars. They did some good work on that series.

My wife and I love the Aliens films. We watched all of them on Blu-Ray to get ready for Prometheus. I think the special edition of Alien3 is sadly underrated. If you can get past the death of Hicks (which is hard to do), I think it's easier to enjoy this atmospheric, dark, disturbing film. I believe that Newt's death,

The Miami Vice clip features another great actor who would make an interesting RR interview - David Strathairn.

If you like Monster Men, you should check out Faces, which is also by Matt Wagner. Classic stuff.

One reason I like the scene where Ripley learns about her daughter is that it gives her motivation to go back to LV-426. Her life is shit - her daughter's dead, she lost her pilot's license, and the corporation might bring her up on charges for destroying company property. Why else would she return to that nightmare

Great to hear that Bertolucci is directing again! The Conformist is one of my all-time favorite films. Hopefully he's got another masterpiece or two left in him.

FROST HAMMER!

Not much of a valley, though.

Welcome, John! This was the best month of Loud yet!

Goblin rules. Any other recommendations in this vein?

Nothing to add, other than kudos on a terrific article about a classic song. Mayfield is one of my all-time favorites.

I think Living Lightning, Spider-Woman (Julia Carpenter black and white costume), and Wonder Man could fit here. Pretty much all of the West Coast Avengers.

Comics are for everyone.

The Aquaman from the Brave and the Bold cartoon show would be great in a movie.

Plotted by Steve Gerber with dialogue by Joe Lansdale.
