How enjoyable this series is had a lot to do with recycling a lot of espionage tropes: tough female lead, energy infrastructure, the phrase 'multinational corporation', flashy technology (the iPad table), dudes getting shot from long distances and punched at close distances.

So many great elements at the beginning that were lost through the twisty course of this ridiculous, sometimes enjoyable show.

I don't think Spy is back until the end of the year…which along with the return of Archer and the Venture Bros loads up the second half of 2012 with inept counter terrorism, the best kind of TV.
