Good to see a Misfits cast member pop up — is this the first? Seems like a show that would constantly be feeding in actors to GOT.

At least she's still got a head. That's true, though, and I don't necessarily disagree with any of the actions, character traits, or motivations behind these women (hell, the women on Game Of Thrones are far more interesting than the men) — and I certainly don't think the show glosses over their looks, it generally

Yes. Remember, Ellie used to be a DJ.

NO.

I think we have a hot favourite for "best show to not watch but just read the reviews for"!

The only way Alicia's closing testimony could have been more succinct is if she just firmly stated "anal" and sat back down.

I agree with you that the secession thing was less his actual opinion and more the important combination of location and phrasing that he used in that particular broadcast. The problem is that, if pushed, he wouldn't go back on it — he's an opinionated man and would go into more detail about his conservative opinions

I love the way Diane said "The Vampire Diaries" in that kind of foreign way, like how Jenna says "camera" on 30 Rock.

I've watched Who and GOT this week already, but The Good Wife was the most enjoyable and economically written thing on television in the past seven days. The Diane story line was great, hitting comedy, relationships, and big character moments - not to mention that it fitted an incredibly heart-breaking set-up and

YES. My brain was swirling for about thirty seconds after I typed that comment, but you are correct. That said, one out of the entire female cast is hardly great, and it's also a bit annoying that her looks are so often commented on by other characters.

When Davos ripped his shirt off on the rock it reminded me of something that does quite annoy me about GOT — the absolute absence of female characters who aren't beautiful. The spread of looks in the male cast is great because it speaks to people with history and battle scars, yet without exception (that I can think

And I think that while pre-GOT beginning Tyrion might have been a dick, it's probably because he so insulated himself from others because of his physical condition. But now that so much is in flux, other characters are having to reach out to him - Shea, Sansa, even Cersei's mask is slipping. With connections now open

Just re-watched this episode, still a great piece of work and one for the Who pantheon of classic episodes. Staged much like a play, makes perfect use of the a Companion-lite episode (done to save time so they can film a Doctor-lite episode simultaneously), makes logical and emotional sense and has a very creepy but

I also think that our view of Tyrion is coloured by the fact that we've only seen him recently. He may well have been a vagabond, a drunk, a whore-master and an untrustworthy bastard — which doesn't compare well against golden boy Jaime and a daughter that married the family into power.

I thought it was like she was being eaten by a condom, but how and ever.

I was listening to a British film review show and the following quote about an American actor seemed apt:

Having seen Hysteria twice, I would say that Maggie Gyllenhaal's accent therein is magnificent. It's got incredibly British inflections, particularly Londoner, and a throaty, lived-in quality that adds to the character.

I would say that, as someone living in London, Fanning's accent in Ginger & Rosa is actually pretty accurate. It's a certain type of accent, certainly stereotypically stiff-upper-lip but one that does actually exist (though whether it suits her family background is questionable).

I was really hoping the Cardinal would hug Alicia (or Veronica) in some crazy twist.
