Anything that can extract that many just-woke-up laugh-out-loud moments from me is a solid A. And a great showcase for everyone this week - the dodgeball could have been messy but it paid off all the story lines at once which was some nifty writing.

I agree. I took it as him vocalising his fears in general, and while he did refer to some memory problems they didn't seem to be particularly symptomatic of anything but his age.
Barney and Robin cannot, cannot, cannot get married. Everything that would be respectful of these characters and to real life points to this being a doomed coupling, and I really hope they have the balls to split them up on the wedding day.
Also she's one of those people who just look like anagrams, like Regina Spektor or Pixie Geldof.
I'd love if the judge's wife had left with the cheque, and then when alone in the elevator held out her hand and produced flames.
With Janel Moloney as the voice of O' Farrelly, the magical leprechaun.
Mai Tai's for some, miniature American abortions for others!
Wouldn't it have been great if the twist had been them all pulling off their fake beards and acknowledging their own terrible accents, before delivering a five-minute polemic on racially uncomfortable casting?
Wait a minute, this horse is full of…. CONDOMS.
Yep, series finale with Alexis Bledel guesting as the new doctor — happened to her and was a definite call-back to LLL.

Maura Tierney and Abby were really the glue that held things together for me. I understand that her story lines tended to be on the depressing side (the alcoholism, the bi-polar family) but Tierney had a nice lightness which I appreciated. Pairing her with Luka was too much though. Too much of the sads.

I also loved that the hankie chain he pulled out of his pocket had a bra on it - where did he get it?
Editor's Note: Do not castrate toddlers.
Liked this episode more than I thought I would, and agree that Hannigan and Segel nailed the scene where Lily broke down.
I'm inclined to say no to the misogyny point since every piece involving James Deen's work in non-porn tends to mention his porn background.
I just got the "metre" joke — coming from a country that has the metric system (i.e. sanity) makes it harder when HIMYM rags on Canadianisms.
Wait a minute. Is the slushy semen or is it composed of blended penis?
Whatever the dramatic equivalent is of "dragging a joke past the point that it's effective and past that point until it becomes effective again", Bunheads did it in that final argument.
