35% Dumb Fun, 65% Just Plain Dumb
"The A Team" packs a little more "America! Fuck, yeah!" than I was expecting or can stomach. Opening scenes are set "just before the American withdrawal from Iraq," where we were, of course, welcomed as liberators.

This one racks up a bit more of a body count than you would have seen on the TV show. B.A. gets an attack of conscience and embraces non-violence at one point, but, Hannibal talks him out of it by using a quote from Gandhi to support ass-kicking. True story.

I usually watch TV a season at a time anyway. I read the news online. I haven't had cable TV since 2001.

Can't pick between Barrowman and NPH. Had to cast my vote for George Takei.

re: Barrowman's accent. He is Scottish, but was raised in the US. He's able to do a pretty much flawless American accent, but, his natural accent is Scottish.
