I agree. There is no way they could know what would kill him, since nothing ever has. She's smart enough to have also made the connection that Peter had exploded and still managed to heal. Unless her power is the ability to see the weaknesses inherent in others. That would make her pretty badass.

I've never been much of a Marvel fan, but the first volume of Brian K. Vaughan's Runaways begs to be adapted for film. Maybe by Vaughan himself, now that he's writing for Lost and all. A girl can dream…
