Yeah, I don't love Andy Samberg. I enjoy his Lonely Island work and a lot of the SNL Digital Shorts, but Hot Rod didn't do much for me.

*You're* late to the party?

I GOT IT FROM HERE!

All right. I'm convinced that Noel just doesn't give movies As.

10/10 for concept, 6/10 for execution.

This read like a review for a really good movie until the last two sentences.

It's 2013.

Really enjoyed this. Casting was excellent for the most part with some very notable high points (Amy Acker; Nathan Fillion and the more undersung Tom Lenk as his partner; etc. etc.).

You joke; Joss will turn that into a series.

I always thought that was just a joke.

He's no "Asian Dan."

"It’s as though MacGyver gradually morphed into Battlestar Galactica."

!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite aspect of the original co-founder and Clyde 2.0 plotline is that I just know that the reveal is going to be mind-blowing. That's the beauty of this show: It always keeps you guessing.

Putting aside for a second how phenomenal Enver Gjokaj's Topher impression is, can we just assume at this point that if one of the leads from Firefly shows up in a Joss Whedon venture, they're probably evil?

"Tonight was an excellent showcase for Enver Gjokai as Victor; after that
nightclub scene, I’m convinced that he’s the most versatile actor of
the dolls in the cast."

God, that scene with Amy Acker talking about not being a real person but not wanting to "die" nonetheless was incredibly well acted.

"Finding out that Dr. Saunders used to be a doll was a fairly punchless revelation, ultimately."

God, Amy Acker switching back and forth from Fred to Illyria. At least they did a good job with her character at the end of season one (which is where I currently stand in the series).

I didn't mind the whodunit aspect because it kept propelling a plot that might have otherwise sagged around the third time she spoke to someone and found out how they truly felt about her. Instead, it allowed each one to be its own nice emotional moment with a hint of interrogation on the side.
