Peter Finch. Definitely Peter Finch. Do directors count? Wasn't The Dead John Huston's last movie? Oh, and the Shootist for John Wayne. Not his highest note, but a good one.

www.ytmnd.com is his true swan song.
He ended his life on Pulp Fiction. He's spent the last 15 years as a Lord Xenu run puppet.
Also, die of cancerAIDS, etc. I only said it because I'm a friend, and I think it'd be better from my mouth than that of a troll.
In this case, it's scored like golf. A lower score is better.
My top 5 so far (because I know it's important to you)
Merriweather Post Pavilion
Bitte Orca
Veckatimest
Middle Cyclone
The Crying Light
The Godfather
That's why I think the Shining worked. Kubrick changed so much, but got the FEEL of the book right.
What's your age group?
I liked Dead Zone a lot. Probably his 3rd best in my book
That Goosebumps with the giant hamster. That's where you start.
Isn't that what the Net 2.0 was about?
Wizard and Glass was probably the best book of the series. It's nice to get closure, and the last 3 Dark Tower books are probably his best this decade, but it's not really necessary if you don't want to devote the time.
Where I started
The Stand. Usually the author's superlong masterpiece isn't the best place to start, but with Stephen King, I think it's as good a place as any. Not a tough read, but complex enough to keep me interested.
Damages wasn't on HBO.
It was 2 or 3 years ago.
Isn't Jonathan Ames
somehow involved in this?
Yes, still boobs. Barely.
I'm happy that Neve Campbell's boobs weren't involved. Most disappointing celeb boobs ever.
Since when has doing the same thing as J.G. Ballard qualified someone as normal?
