In the world of the Office, I think it was just cartoony enough to get the laughs early on and land the prank on Dwight and then also make for a great B-story.

That's true, but I disagree that it was a problem. I think it was refreshing (though I wouldn't want every episode to be like this, in which case I would just rewatch the British version).

Anonymouse Trap, exactly. He may be horrible to work for, but he gets his shit done. I think the most telling moment for Michael is the episode in season 3 where Pam has to keep track of what Michael is doing, and all she sees is "Cosby Impression" and "Waiting in Pretzel Line" and him falling asleep at his desk. But

DAMMIT ASSNECK!

That show would get good ratings if the PAX Network were still around.

I think
The last few weeks have been a return to form. Good show, Ms. Fey and company.

"Let me count your neck rings, Fat Neck girl"

He was great in Role Models. "I didn't know Jews could play music like this!"

Also, Michael has a point, his loyalty is unwavering, but it is almost never rewarded. He wasn't in serious contention for Jan's job, he had to fight to get a raise, Holly got transferred when a stern review of the policy was all that was necessary, he gets sent on shitty business trips, and for his 15th anniversary,

I think it felt more like the British Office, personally.

Did anyone feel
Like tonight, when he was talking to Charles, Jim seemed like Dwight? Wearing a tux to work for Michael's anniversary, touting himself as the ARM, and even saying "Assistant Regional Manager" when Charles suggested that he was the Assistant to the Regional Manager.

That Michael was just going to back down and take it at the end.

Seems like
They should have just let this go gentle into that good night.

I've been looking forward to this since I heard about it
And goddammit I'll probably have to look forward to it until it comes out on DVD.

Indeed, which is why it's awesome.

Teenage girls like to talk on the phone!

Yeah, I hang out with my friends all the time. If I'm hanging out with just one of them, it's not a man-date.

I haven't really explored their older stuff, but MPP is really, really good, and I don't see how they could be much better.

AVC: You've done a lot of historical dramas during your career, and The Edge Of Love is one as well. When you play a character from decades or centuries ago, do you try and research the era, or would you rather approach the role from a contemporary perspective?

That's a fair point, Death. Of course, she's probably used to being interviewed by People and Us Weekly, so she might not give a shit, usually.
