hard not to agree
I'm down with all the above comments, this show is getting more disjointed in an effort to stick to it's formula that is nowhere near as good as the UK formula. Another thing I really miss is Ramsey's voice over, I think it adds a lot to the big picture of what he's doing and why.

cavemen / carpool
Yep, these shows were C shows. As for cavemen doing caveman things, I think it would be great if they had the occasional uncontrollable caveman urge(like throwing their poo) that would make them standout as cavemen. And I didn't see any cavechicks so how are they supposed to date in their species?

makeover

I've been wondering what happened to ACL, looking every week for a schedule. Man the hour long Alejandro Escovedo show kicked serious ass. Then I went a saw him live and it was even better.

It seems like the americanizing of the show sets it up to be disappointing compared to the BBC version, that's too bad. The whole premise of saving a failing restaurant with hard work and common sense appeals to me and my hard work and common sense sensibilities. Really, all the changes stated above…

I think it's great you're doing Kitchen Nightmares. I've been hooked on the BBC America show for a couple of years and this one should be good as well. It'll be fun to see how American chefs handle getting verbally bitch slapped by Chef Ramsey.

The Moaners
I agree that Meg's drumming is what is called for in the White Stripes' world. I was never a big fan and wasn't planning on seeing them anyway. Now to hear a great 2 person band with some kick ass female drumming check out The Moaners. Laura King is phenomenal.

Network TV
Personanlly I don't watch a lot of network TV, but every Thursday I click on over to NBC for 30 Rock and The Office. 30 Rock took a few episodes to get going for me but I'm there every week now. Fun stuff.

Amy Sedaris
Yes, Bonnie Hunt is nice, but Amy Sedaris is quite the hottie when not contorting her face for comic effect (and sometimes then too).
