I was absolutely dying at all those jokes. Romero. "That kid is everywhere, it's a nightmare."

Nope, I honestly didn't. And I'm sorry but I don't think a teacher gets to make that judgment. You are in a position of power over someone who is a youth, you don't get to say who deserves to get left back.
Very good point.
I think it will get better with age. Yeah having it be specifically Obama might date it, but I don't think the films dealing with Nixon or Kennedy or whatever are dated. I think right now it's a little close to it but in time I think it will come to be a really great treatise on just how far from the speechifying…
Right exactly. But since at first we are only seeing the Geek's perspective, it can seem like he is a bit of a bully. I personally feel what he does to Sam might be a little bit much in the beginning of this episode. But in all honesty, I think even he realizes he went a bit too far when he yells at the kids for…
Yeah he's awful. I honestly would have felt no guilt about helping Daniel cheat. Once a teacher says that ANY student is not worth it and deserves to be left behind, they should lose their fucking job.
Really loved this episode. I loved the playing with expectations that happened with the Teacher. There is nothing more annoying than getting in trouble for disrupting the class when you are trying to stop said disruption, and the humiliation the Teacher puts Sam through seems to paint him as an obvious bully villain…
My biggest problem was what an insanely weird and insane character Sam Shepard was playing and how little screentime and dialogue he got.
Fucking pay me.
Yeah sometimes I disliked the blaring political subtext but I'm sorry, I have to admit that I fucking loved that final scene. I heard so many comments similar to that during the election and Pitt's final line really sold me on it.
Well I think it makes sense to be uncomfortable with it as as much as I like the Moffat era, it's clear he just isn't at good at showrunning as he is at crafting great one offs. And in Harmon's case that was two people who never worked on the show before just coming in. And even Cougar Town was more off this season…
I have to admit liking the second episode because, well, Dean with a baby. I mean, yeah.
@Scrawler:disqus Supernatural talk? I liked these episodes. It's not quite the same, and obviously when they've already fought the DEVIL it's hard to really create villains that live up. Though the idea of civil war in Heaven is a decent follow up. I was glad Dean confronted Sammy as for the first two episodes I…
I always liked the idea of them treating it like other fantasy and horror things that aren't TV. This is a world where magic exists. Here are some of the rules and other magics that go on too. That's fine for me. I don't need an explanation.
He's shown to have been attracted to her even at her most sarcastic and shitty. He gets fireworks in his eyes after she tells off his wife and then teases him about it. He likes all of her.
I actually don't remember the rest of the series very well. Probably because the episodes that aired on TV are the only ones I've seen twice. I look forward to seeing the episodes you think rate better, again.
Damn it, sorry, last post. "Lazy whore." is one of my favorite Jaye line deliveries and I absolutely love the Priest. He's so brusque and down to earth. His calling out of exorcisms. His constant "leave me alone" attitude, telling people to shut up and the like. Not the kind of priest we are used to seeing on TV.
Oh yeah and I also love that by bringing the priest back to his daughter, it also brings the nun back to the big Him. Giving her life meaning and purpose again. Clever that penguin be.
This might be my favorite episode of the series. I find it to just be so beautiful. The ex-nun's monologue about cheese? Oh man. It reminds me of how I frequently look at the world. All the little coincidences and connections that create something like cheese, or a rainbow, or whatever the fuck else. They make…
Fuller has said the Fourth Season would be Red Dragon. So my guess is not yet. Thinking the 3rd season will involve the noose tightening on Hannibal and end with his incarceration. If they follow the mythology of the books that is.
