@avclub-3d0c04e65b6d37204e7b5a110235db2e:disqus is, I believe, referring to Joseph Atwill's new theory that Roman aristocrats, fearing violent Jewish revolts, invented a character fulfilling the role of Messiah who advocated peace and giving unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's.

Just remember, Kill is Kiss.

"And I have the best moment of penetration face!"

And I DO have a couple of literature degrees so NYAH.

Wow this is the most dickish reply I've ever received.

Yeah the bunch of awesome scenes padded with hours of bullshit was the POINT.

Totally agree. Batman himself is not interesting in the least. The villains are good, sure, but Batman is just wish fulfillment at a greater level than even Superman. He's rich, he's handsome, he's the world's greatest detective (For reasons nobody really ever explains) and he knows EVERY karate. At least Superman

I'm generally with @Roswulf:disqus  on that point, though I will say that Frasier is not exactly innocent in its depictions (it is, however, a better written show, and does not rely as heavily on those portrayals compared to BBT).

Listen, I get you. People making fun of nerd stereotypes and caricatures is not nearly the same as doing the same thing for races or religions. But can we at least agree that it can still be a real shitty thing to do even if it isn't as shitty as the shittiest thing people do?

Depends on the game! In your average D&D game, it would just make it very difficult to do certain activities, and would be up to the DM to decide if people treat you like a monster.

*Please don't be that duck.

Josh Modell is a pretty smart guy. Get my point?

Caddyshack takes a LOT of time away from Bill Murray to focus on those stupid god damn teenagers, while The Jerk is pretty much 100% Steve Martin being goofy, so advantage The Jerk.

Personally I loved Beef's rant about the hole in your underwear, because he is fucking RIGHT.

Man, this show is just about the most wonderful thing on television right now. It manages to be hilarious, inventive, interesting, and very, extremely sad in equal parts, and has created some of the most amazing characters in cartoon history.

No way man, it's back from haitus and kicking some serious butt.

AW FUCKING FUCK YEAH THIS SHOW IS BACK. I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED.

I really really don't want to say that fat shaming is good or anything, merely that it isn't….

I think I probably should take umbrage with the idea that a TV show is bad because it promotes a certain unhealthy idea, but if I did that then I'd be defending The Biggest Loser, which is the secret that sends me back to my original dimension, A la Mister Mxyzptlk.

Let's be honest though, this site has been real fast and loose with how The Shield ends in the last couple of weeks.
