I like every season of this show, but I always thought that around this point the plot became less "how do regular people deal with death?" and became more "how do regular people deal with sudden, terrible things happening to them all the time over and over pretty much from here on out."

I'm with you, Space Pope. If all comedy was doomed, and we had time to save only one joke to send off into space to represent all of human comedy to other species, that'd be the one.

The world building on this show is so good that it even accurately represents its own pop culture. Just look at the little cartoon Aangs at the carnival.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm gonna miss this show. It was never great, but it always a fun watch. Plus this last season's been surprisingly well done.
