SI!
Naw, don't lump Horse_ebooks in with the rest of them. That one has something not quite explainable. It's amazing to read.
Poor? Abominable? Beastly? Abhorrent? Faulty? Less than standard?
@avclub-ad243ee79261779b6a6f10f9a6202c04:disqus "You talk too much, Pumpkin" is one of those sentences that would've gotten you committed before the internet.
Watch out, dude, that means something good now.
I really really enjoyed Jeff admitting the she "Britta'd it" at the end. It made me realize how much I've been in her shoes, just trying to do a good job despite being a screw up.
I liked Danny Pudi in it, but the story didn't 100% work for me. I found it really interesting (that's not necessarily the same as good) that for the episode that most outright acknowledged the existence of sitcom tropes, this was especially sitcom-like and clear cut. You knew he was going to fall for coat check girl…
Hey guys, I'm going to take over this horrible firstie for a real minor announcement:
The A.V. club: Hijinks city, population hijinks.
BuzzCracked: Only 90s kids will remember these ten secrets about historical figures the government doesn't want you to know about that you can't believe aren't photoshopped.
Last year, I reviewed a nine-hour documentary about the lives of
Mongolian yak herdsmen, and I would rather see it again than sit through this news.
This news is absolutely horrible to hear. This news doesn't scrape the bottom of the barrel. This news isn't the
bottom of the barrel. This news isn't below the bottom of the barrel.
This news doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with
barrels.
If it's dreamy in the Twin Peaks sense, sure, sounds fun. But if there just ARE plotholes and the only defense is "eh, this ain't the type of show where you worry about those" then something about that line of reasoning irks me.
Aw man, I was all ready to give this show a shot, but then Todd basically said I would be a dummy if I looked for plot holes and honestly I hate it when reviewers do stuff like that. "Dream Logic Ethos" doesn't excuse stuff like that.
I just think America has gone beyond actors in Greenface, and frankly I'm insulted.
Your superior intellect is no match for our puny weapons!
No way I'm disagreeing here. Cool design, fun fighting, Bobby's back without it being groan-worthy, Benny actually had a compelling, complete, and hopefully over character arc. Great stuff all around.
Well she's on SNL so….nope.
I don't know if it says more about the state of sketch comedy or this website that I can't tell if you're being sarcastic.
