God, Barrowman was just chillingly good in the first season.

And there's a lot in the Arkham games, Asylum specifically, that sounds like it's trying to recreate some of the mood of the B:TAS theme.
Episodes like that play so much better on a rewatch, when you're not starved for answers, know what's going to happen and can just enjoy and have fun with an episode as it happens.
Oh, God! What a breakthrough!
Aw, man. Poor Tom.
Of all the times Jack has (and will) get hilariously upset at something, I always felt that was one of the most justified.
In all honesty, Sayid and Hurley should have been the core leadership of the castaways from the beginning. They'd have all survived a lot longer and likely would have soundly trounced the Others.
I think I would want to be able to watch Space Ghost: Coast to Coast as it initially aired with my 2014 mindset and sense of humor. I'd probably go insane trying to get people to watch it, though.
There is no horrific music in Metroid.
This is a strange thing to be attached to someone for, but I've always felt Robin Williams naming his daughter Zelda was sweetly unabashed in its nerdery. He was tiresome to watch sometimes, but was a hell of a dramatic actor when he wanted to be. This is crushingly sad.
"whose version of Wayne—like every version of the character—struggles to reconcile his two identities"- see Conroy, Kevin.
Also, I'm just remembering Faraday was a Frieghtie, and he was my second favorite character.
Miles and Lapidus were the only reason the boat was interesting at all.
"Peter" was that episode of Fringe for me, because I only saw bits and pieces of S1. That was the episode that confirmed that I'd be in it for the long haul.
The movie tie-in games were even pretty solid hack n slash games.
I think it works because Malvo was VERY conscious of the vibe he was giving off, so you can take it either way.
It's definitely the only episode that doesn't worship at the altar of Sherlock, which is nice.
I like that those characters all mirror despite having never met.
Tying in with the idea that Malvo might be a supernatural being, we didn't get any further explanation as to how he was able to get in (and more importantly) get out of Lester's house in the first epsidoe. He just sort of…appeared and grabbed Lester's shotgun.
That little bit from Gus made me like him so much that I was desperately fearing his death for the rest of the episode.
