The Black and White Minstrel Show was hugely popular Saturday night telly in the UK, running for nearly twenty years until it was shut down in 1978. I don't think there's anyone who doesn't cringe thinking about it now.

I agree there were lots of great, fun moments in this episode (the stand out being Russell's smooth karaoke sidle) but it was like watching a collection of awesome gifs interspersed among an hour of incoherent storytelling.

I was hoping for Tatum O'Neal, but maybe that would have been too crazy. Sad crazy, not fun crazy.

That reminds me of the filthiest passage in Dracula.
