…after this thoughtful interview; thanks. He does seem to have a real passion for the source material, and have taken time to 'understand' it, so I'm glad that he seems to have avoided 'doing a Watchmen' and just showing the plot beats whilst completely missing the point.

A well made 'The Unconsoled' would hopefully show what a PROPER dream movie is supposed to be like, and help people put the massively overrated 'Inception' in perspective.

Dudes, since this is a film that's almost entirely about the visuals, so I'd recommend you see it on the big screen if you can.

Terrible film / great film
Scott's take on this is right - it really is, by all other standards, a fucking terrible film. The acting is terrible, the script is ham-fisted and the 'philosophical' angle is worth of a 15 year old's diary.
