Big Lebowski's initial critical failure was bc it followed Fargo, which was just a perfect film that touched some moods and themes the Coens had really touched before. What's Wes Anderson gonna do? He's running out of uniforms to put his male protagonists in. Something tells me if the lead in this next film is wearing a UPS uniform the whole time it will read as a tad depressing and less jaunty and clever.
