There's a 5 issue retelling of Avengers 1 that he did. Certainly the story isn't that interesting but if you like Noto and the Silver Age it has an obvious charm.
Yeah starts a little slow without the Alphona art, but is pretty engaging by the end.
Just change the story suggesting more time has passed than it has in the books. Basically what they are already doing.
This is exactly why Star Wars keeps dealing itself fatal or near fatal blows. Filling in backstory that was/is far more interesting left abstract.
