It got me collecting genre comics again for the 1st time in a 20 years. Never stop collecting comics per se.

The first 5 issues are out on tpb. I think the next 6 come soon.

They better cast Powers Booth as Grodd

The only person in the world with their imaginations fired by "The Hobbit: The Battle of the 5 Armies"

Or Kirby's 4th world series written about a war between 2 races of space gods for control over a power that binds the universe called the "source", the villain is a large man in a dark helmet called Darkside & their's a young character called Mark Moonrider. Yep. Homage

Like if Stan Lee were encouraged to start scripting every current Marvel comic.

Also the big chunks directly stolen from Jack Kirby and Kurosawa.

Trying to think of 1 scene I fully like and respect besides "Riddles in the Dark" … drawing a blank.

The plural of vinyl is vinyl.

Man I hate how it matches the original beat for beat. Superman crashes into Kansas - Superman save Lois from a falling helicopter/plane - Lex Luthor has some stupid real estate scheme - Lex Luthor defeats Superman with kryptonite - Luthor's mole saves Superman - Superman does something impossible (reverses time -

Those 2 probably don't need steak anyway.

Quality = time. I understand waiting is hard.

Imagine it comes out the next week and Michael Bay is the show runner for 3 weeks.

Superhero fans need to work through this emotion more. Far more important to maintain creative continuity.

Invested is too strong a word. Modestly distracting oneself closer too the truth. There's a handful of artists I follow (lately far more than I used to) and some of the line wide storyline bleeds into what I read. Don't care generally about the larger story. I "care" about the cartooning of people like Chris Ware,

Bc they keep not casting young enough for Johnny.

And then so soured on the public Marvel would have to take a long time to do their version. Average dunce out there doesn't know the difference between the studios.

Because a lot of dummies took the Nolan bait.

Glasses = grey streak in hair?

Was this called the No-Shit-Sherlock study?
