Community as well. And they even had an "alternate universe" episode that said something about love and friendship that was more successful, in my mind.

Much like the BSG's revelation by Starbuck at the end of the penultimate season, the "Sideverse" felt like a cheat. It wasn't just a red herring, it was anti-plot. Why put forth TV shows and commercials from a supposed Limbo?
Good post, rodrickramrod. The cabin scene was one of the creepiest moments on Lost, but ultimately it went nowhere.
First time on the Internet? I've got bad news for you…
The problem is that there have been shows that have had 'mysteries' at the core and did not explain what was going on at the end, and yet did not end up having the same sorts of issues that BSG and Lost did.
Why? Because, I think, there was a sort of "P.T. Barnum" quality to how the show was being sold. Both sets…
"Christmas at Ground Zero" is truly the best Xmas Video of all time.
Nope. Always hated them. Moreso when all of the Lucas' Post-ROTJ material was based off them.
I don't think I'm going to scroll up Lucas' cinemas.
I think Obi-Wan was full of it, and the stormtroopers were genuinely looking for a different set of droids.
And the game acknowledges that it isn't meant to necessarily be "our" future - there are references to things happening in past years that obviously never did in real life.
But if you don't have a gas grenade… took me a while. Guess what? They have tons of 'em. If I hadn't taken the Rebreather, I would've died ten times over.
Yep. I remember thinking, "Oh, yeah, it *was* set in Detroit, wasn't it?"
According to Steam, 30 hours - seems to be about the same as others here. I did miss two of the side missions, though.
The Universal Ammo was probably the worst "innovation" in games in a long while.
Invisible War was hands-down terrible, an obvious pandering to consoles; the fact that the texts went from erudite references / long text to a couple of sentences and references to Moby Dick… well, that was the tip of the iceberg. The fact that Warren Spector was involved was probably the most depressing part.
Same here, first time round. After watching the foreman crying, and then the cops in Detroit talk smack about me for letting them die, I restarted.
You have to sneak around. If he sees you, he'll blow up the barrel. Easy way to blind him? EMP grenades.
Hack the turret. Or, circle back through a vent to the outside to pick off some of them, then run back through again.
Agreed. BOB was one of the most terrifying villians on TV… which is even more bizarre, considering he was an accident.
The opening of the Twin Peaks movie scared the crap out of me, and that didn't even involve anything supernatural.
The 'dislike' feature should be used really if someone is being offensive, insulting… basically a troll. If it ends being used to squelch dissenting opinion, I presume it'll be removed. But the people complaining about it seem to think that's already the case, anyways… which is bullshit. No one is stopping someone…
