Same here, with some Rifftraxed movies, Film Crew and Cinematic Titantic thrown into the mix.
But the Futurama and Simpson box sets also rock. Especially with commentary.

Shhhh!

The problem isn't that economics isn't 'real science'. The problem is that many economists seem to think that they belong in the hard sciences with physics and chemistry. That's what the guy talking about political scientists getting annoyed with them was talking about.
But no, I don't equate showboating, P.T.

Wonko the Sane
Reminds me of the Douglas Adams bit about the scientist who realized all humanity was insane when he saw instructions on the side of a toothpick box.

Yeah, the hard sciences also find economics to be full of shit.

The irony comes from Marvel Comics appearing in-universe in an upcoming episode.

I'm curious about that myself, since most fan consensus is the reference to Part One being an easter egg on the DVD during the commentary for Part Two was nothing more than a joke.

Let's just say that the henchman in the car when it exploded was for sure deadsies.

Ironically, Marvel Comics is doing a miniseries showcasing "Marvel Comics #1" right now.

Agreed. Venture Brothers has been consistently one of the best shows on TV in the last decade.
BTW, there's an interesting animatic floating around that sheds some light on No. 24's fate…

He didn't drive the crowd into a murderous rage. In fact, he attempts to reason with them at the end and they utterly ignore them. What drove them into a rage was a Respectable Figure (the doctor No. 6 had hypnotized) declaring that No. 2 was "unmutable".
While he wanted to turn the tables on No. 2, I'm sure he was

The silver lining is this should end the Seth McFarlane gravy train, wherein he will be banished to F/X to fill fourteen hours of programming a week.

The eternal struggle between good and neutral.

Change of Mind
It's interesting that No. 6 really seems to have just given up on… everything at the start of the episode. He's belligerent and rude, and yet actually seems stung when he's shunned by the villagers. Also, this is one of the few moments that the Butler has any sort of reaction - in the Council Chamber,

Because what they're really hoping for is the collapse of society - presto, no Army to stop you from being the local tyrant!

I don't have a problem with semi-auto weapons, except when they are easily converted to full auto with kits freely available at any gun show.

I think Genevieve has just been outed.

No catch, although technically we're in New Jers…

It varies… oh, god damn it!

The skits with Disembaudio during the horrific 'sex' scenes are the only thing that makes them watchable. If I had been watching 'The Room' by itself I'd have to just leave. Or fast-forward it, I guess.
