Oh, and Rawhide - yes, the comic's are worth picking up. So is the 'novelization' (although more of a co-written book than anything else).
It's a rumor that's been going around for years. Honestly? I think a few bits and pieces were used to add to an existing script (as Rawhide pointed out, it was originally a western) since a studio exec at the time was making sure that no Banzai sequel would ever get green-lighted.
Dear Middle-Aged Female Twilight Fans:
On behalf of nerds and dorks everywhere, please stick to "Twilight-only" conventions and don't come to broader sci-fi/fantasy conventions like DragonCon. Just resume your traditional role of dropping off your son and his friends from the Roleplaying Club in your mini-van at…
"The Room" was amazing. Some of their best material.
Dissapointing, AVClub.
What about NKOTB's "Face the Music"? Or even moreso - Pat Boone's "No More Mister Nice Guy"?
All the songs except one - IIRC - were recorded on the road at whatever studio space was available.
I think that most would agree that they lost their direction when their drummer left, which was after that tour.
I know. It's too painful to think about. I'm going back to pretending that "Banzai vs. the World Crime League" is coming out any day now…
You're in luck, ParallelComics, because Rifftrax made a stellar one for the Eragon movie as well.
They even got me to watch "Batman and Robin", which I had swore I would never, ever do.
Rifftrax makes everything awesomer. Even the movies that you do actually like.
It shouldn't have worked
The entire description of the movie back then made it seem like there was no chance that it would be more than marginally better than, say "Shanghai Surprise". Instead, they managed to pull off a film that was actually pretty enjoyable.
Not on my 'cult movie' list but not surprised that it…
He could read the large print books fine. But then his eyes fell out. He could also read braille, but his hands fell off. Then his tongue. And then his head.
Didn't you watch the "Scary Door" episode all the way to its end?
Tom, you'd be surprised about how conservatives view Glenn Beck. I was just told by a relative last night that the reason he thought Beck was so great (and why the White House is 'so afraid of him') is that he is full of provable facts.
Not really a departure, though.
Don't buy the hype of hipster strawmen, lazerguided. Fleetwood Mac is timeless.
New Adventures was a touring album, much like Zooropa - it wasn't meant to be a sales benchmark. It was REM's later albums that sunk them.
It has a lot of loyal fans. Wasn't impressed even when the first one came out.
Hardly. In many cases, they decided to follow what they wanted instead of pandering to the fans - and guess what, in the cases of Nirvana and Radiohead, it worked.
Neil Young was specifically trying to piss off his record company.
I guess in that case one could say… All Tomorrow's Parties to Pattern Recognition, then?
It was unintentionally hilarious because it seemed like something the Adam West Batman would've thought of.
"Yellow. The color yellow. That it's old chum! We'll use the Bat-paint and make ourselves yellow!"
A New Level of Boredom!
Just start adding lasers, or zombies, or set it on Mars or something.
