About 10 minutes in, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to take Poppy but I am glad I stuck with it. Jenni's right, Sally Hawkins does a fantastic job of showing Poppy as a layered character. In lesser hands than Leigh or Hawkins, this would be say a forgettable rom-com vehicle.
