How does this compare to Surfwise?
I thought Surfwise was really one of the best documentaries of the last five years, so despite Nabin's B-, I'll probably see this.

I know it was panned, but did anyone actually see it? Counsel me on this. Half-Baked was pretty reviled too, but it didn't deserve the flack it got, and I was hoping that would be the case with The Goods….even though Jeremy Piven is obnoxious.

Count me amongst the minority of people who thought it was wildly overrated. Not a bad film, but it has some glaring faults, like cliche-ridden dialogue and an uneven and erratic use of special effects.
