I live in LA, but thought of New York as our rival. San Francisco didn't even enter my mind at all.

Perhaps Dillon vs. Arnett Mead would work better?

This could be a lot of fun, but I'm not sure how long a series like this can retain quality (assuming that it's good in the first place). But I'm always down for more Menken music.

No. Most of these are a step above the BB finale. (Yes, I am one of those people.)

If you get the chance to see Haim live, DO IT. Absolutely amazing show. I became an instant fan after I caught them by chance a few years ago, and I've been happy to see them steadily break out of the LA music scene. I'm little saddened to see so much dislike here — it's one thing if it's just not your type of music,

I was soooo pissed that I didn't find out they were playing in my area until the show was sold out. Eagerly awaiting for them to come back.

I think Emily Nussbaum explained it best: "It’s not that Walt needed to suffer, necessarily, for the show’s finale to be challenging, or original, or meaningful: but Walt succeeded with so little true friction…that it felt quite unlike the destabilizing series that I’d been watching for years." I don't have quite the

It's irrational, but there's a part of me that doesn't want it to do well because it'll "steal" viewers from Hannibal. (Hannibal needs to have actual viewers first before they can be stolen.)

I'm glad to read that this season's improved. I disliked the first season so much that I decided to put off watching the new episodes until I heard enough to convince me I could watch them without yelling at the screen in frustration (I really, really dislike Mako). I would love to go back to pre-S1 excitement levels.

They've already started filming, I think, actually. Before these news reports came out people online were freaking out because Prepon wasn't in New York while the rest of the cast had already assembled. I didn't take it seriously then, because honestly, who would give up a role like this?

I have nothing substantial to say, only DOGGIES WHAT ADORABLE DOGS

I knew this show was gonna get an early cancellation the moment I saw the hideous billboards for it around LA. Terrible marketing.

But Miyazaki isn't just a big animation name — his movies are widely regarded as some of the best in recent years, animated or live. It's one thing to have never watched his stuff, but to have never even heard of him, especially on this site, is very surprising.

I love both artists, but yeah, I don't have the money to afford decent seats. My first concert experience was Radiohead at the Hollywood Bowl, in the way back, and that turned me off big venues forever — and I imagine that's better than something like the Staples Center, since it's actually made for music. I just wish

riverrun, past Fry and Leela's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay, brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to New New York and Environs

It's just needlessly negative, especially since this is a space that's going to be used to reminiscence and mourn the show. It's unnecessary, and a bit tone-deaf.

Them's fighting words

I'll never forgive his decision to take Menken off as composer for that movie. Never.

I understand Citizen Kane, but Seven Samurai? I mean, I know it's an "artsy", high brow type of film, but it's also one that always gets a positive response when I show it to people who aren't movie buffs. I never tell them it's a critically acclaimed either — I just present it as an entertaining, albeit long, movie.

I've desperately wanted Ezra and/or Aria to be A for awhile now, so this development pleases me. My head cannon is that he's done all these terrible things to have material for a book he's writing.
