Patrick Stewart as Professor X was also on that list, and eventually happened.

Man, I loved me some Primus and Helmet back in the day, probably as a result of their videos being played on Beavis and Butthead and Headbanger's Ball. "Unsung" by Helmet is one of the most rocking songs of the '90s!
Souls at Zero
Awesome that Souls at Zero is getting a reissue. My favorite Neurosis stuff is from that crossover period. Any chance of Their Word As Law getting a reissue? I think that was on Lookout! originally and is currently WAAAAY out of print.
Dum Dum Dugan will be played by a woman in the upcoming movies, and will keep the sick 'stash.
Spanish Class
"Senor Beavis,Como Es Juan?"
I keep hoping that Perfect Couples will go for broke and reveal that it's actually a Waitress spinoff series, possibly revealed in an episode where it's discovered that Charlie has been stalking her all this time and she has been lying about her past.
Southern Girls!
X-Force #1 on the other hand… (Looks up value)
Gabe's horror movie fandom seems a little out of nowhere, but the Suspiria and Hardware references were still great. As mentioned above there are sadly not enough horror movies with robots. Chopping Mall, Terminator… Transmorphers?
I think I'm going to need to give Last Action Hero another viewing, it's been many years. He definitely was one of my favorite parts about it, especially when The Ripper throws the kid off the roof of the theater.
And then Kenny Powers will yell at him for giving shitty advice.
The Larry Sanders Show is awesome, it's been great to revisit on Netflix since I haven't seen a bunch of episodes since they originally aired. Does this mean HBO is finally loosening on their stupid no streaming policy?
2010 Fave
This is a great album, definitely one of my favorites from this past year. Also one of the consistently best bands at this past CMJ Fest!
I've thought the same thing for years, there are hundreds of Simpsons episodes, and to change things up you could throw some Futurama in there. I don't know what Fox's rerun schedule is like now, but for a long time the multiple airings on a weekday night made it feel like a Simpsons channel! I guess Seinfeld reruns…
If that happened it would hopefully open the door for animated adaptations of pretty much anything that was featured in the DORK anthologies.
Eastbound & Down Season 2
Great to hear that it will be back, and that Andy will be participating, if to a lesser degree (unfortunately). It seemed like an announcement that there would be a second season was made, and then nothing. Good to hear some vague plot details are spilling out, and that they're filming.
It would be great if you threw in some celebrity D&D players who surprisingly have D&D skills, like Vin Diesel, and mixed it up with celebrities who had no clue how to play. The DM would definitely have to know what he/she is doing, although it would be an interesting chaotic experiment if they didn't…
How about Steven Adler's current band Adler's Appetite? Anybody? I'm just amazed the guy can still do anything after that massive coke stroke he had.
I love The Replacements, but I couldn't see a proper reunion happening. If it did, hopefully Paul and Tommy will not use the band name, since it most likely be them and some twentysomething journeymen musicians playing sober straightforward versions of Replacements songs. Where's the fun in that?
Houdini or Gluey Porch Treatments. Houdini is a little more poppy (for the Melvins anyway), Gluey Porch Treatments is raw. It also has Matt Lukin on bass, who would later join Mudhoney.
