@avclub-9ff7c9eb9d37f434db778f59178012da:disqus I honestly do find this new paradigm in storytelling to be fascinating, as I mentioned in my original post.  I'm all for the new Netflix model and look forward to future iterations of it.  I just don't like it for AD, which is beloved largely for being one of the great

In a recent Reddit AMA, he added that any new season “would DEFINITELY be about the family all together,”

I absolutely loathe the interracial-gay-adoptive family.  I haven't read the source material, but they feel like a cobbled-together list of things that small town folk "don't take kindly to" just for the sake of that happening once an episode.

Care to elaborate?

I got a "like" from spinachleaf.  Now I feel dirty.

Too generous, I agree.

I'm watching at the same speed as Noel and Erik and I'm quickly losing my enthusiasm for this whole thing.  Debating whether I should start powering through the rest of the season before I lose interest altogether.

@avclub-d1ab40faa855232ac0e2c2cc96f53a0f:disqus is the perfect audience for this show.  Happy to accept absolute shit.

There are people who don't like Constable Bob?  I hope they all get stabbed accidentally in the foot.

Indeed.  Thanks, unemployment!

An Arrested Development article with less than 10 comments?  I realize it went up like a minute ago, but it still feels like finding the white whale.

Come in, Miles.  What happened?  Miles?…. MIIIIIIIIIILES!!!!!

The less we know about Creed, the better.  He's probably the single character who has been consistent from beginning to end, and always in short spurts, so giving him his own episode could have only ruined it.

Including the note from the teapot totally salvaged the very predictable "Jim shows Pam a montage of them through the years" plot point that everyone knew was coming for months.  Great callback.  Full points to the writers.

If Pierce woke up with Suzanne Pleschette, everything about this season would be forgiven.

I've seen it.  The whole world loses power, so the Cape forms a republic in the Northeast.  He tries his best to rule with integrity but is constantly harassed by a guy with swords and a mopey blond girl.  Also, nukes.

It takes an especially miserable person to be miserable about imagined things that may or may not happen in the future.

Reviews like this are much more interesting than summaries.

@avclub-c983b73e38f4e8e81ccd2fefb2b7b7c3:disqus Dwight has shown outward signs of friendship/love for Pam for a while now, mostly when they're alone.  It's been one of the better subtle threads in the last couple seasons.

AB is also a very, very rare blood type.
