If you like Stanley Kubrick movies, then kind of think of Mad Men as the show Kubrick would make if someone came to him and said 'Advertising executives in the 60's.. go'.
I started the show because of the acclaim and now it's one of my favourites, only beaten by The Sopranos and The Wire. It just feels like I'm

You've pinpointed something which I couldn't really work out. This season has definitely upped the pulp factor and at times it takes me out of the show.

I think it's a little better than Game of Thrones and about on the same level as Fargo, but Mad Men is definitely the best show on TV right now.

So just a quick question, does Mason actually know what happened to his face, or because he was under the influence of drugs, he actually believes what he was telling Jack?

I really, really hated Hannibal. One of the outright worst films I've seen. I can understand it's appeal somewhat, but nothing that Ridley Scott did worked for me.
SOTL is a masterpiece, and Red Dragon is a very solid procedural.

Elegant? Maybe I just wasn't in the right mood for this film, but I honestly found it ugly and poorly constructed. It's one of the only movies I outright hated watching.

I watch a lot of horror movies, but Inland Empire is by far the most horrifying thing I've seen. It literally made me shiver in fear.

Thought this episode really brought home the fact that without his children, wife or work as a distraction, Don really has to deal with the crippling loneliness which has followed him throughout his life.

Is Lost not looked upon highly these days?

I feel like he had more than enough time to quickly let Huell know. It's not ultra complicated, I mean all he has to say is "Can you get rid of that weed from his left pocket when he walks out".

I just assumed he let him know when getting the money bags, it's a pretty easy explanation.

He's always had a soft spot for kids. Seeing Walt Jr. could make him snap out of it.

I loved the episode overall, but did anyone think it was kind of stupid for Hank to steal Walt's book. He must have known that Walt would notice eventually.

Is it wrong that I really really like the majority of these movies, although Adventureland was kind of average.

I love season 1 as well, and I'm not saying that it's wrong for it to be your favourite season, I just personally think season 2 is a lot better. I also disagree with you saying it's the funniest and most consistent, for a lot of the season I felt like the show was finding it's voice, and it did stumble a little along

Season 2 is streets ahead.

Really? I thought Bankrupt was a great slow-build.

That song is brilliant right? It has this awesome nostalgic vibe.

Us under-20's aren't that bad.

Ize of the World is one of my favourites!
