The only movie I've ever seen him give an A is Certified Copy. Everything else gets C's. But the problem is that his writing seems so BORED and UNIMPRESSED with EVERYTHING. He didn't even like Boogie Nights!

Uhhhh where did I say I formed my opinion before seeing it? If anything, I thought this would be one of my favorite movies ever. I loved Irreversible and liked I Stand Alone a lot, and the stills I saw looked incredible.

This is truly one of the absolute worst movies I've ever seen. Technically great, sure, but all in the employ of a nothing story about shitty people made by a misogynist homophobe director.

Don't think that's an apt description. His debut was about someone who's never had sex, and Seth Rogen's various characters have had sex once in a combined 3 movies.

I could've done with a lengthier "Previously On" given they immediately hopped into lots of names I didn't immediately remember. I think Ronnie's gonna be very interesting this season. His low key businesslike persona seems like it may erupt given that Vic's getting in the way of business.
