What's interesting from a theological standpoint is that that's not true. My understanding is that eastern religions don't actively care one way or the other, and Hinduism outright supports homosexuality.

Still in print. I just bought a very nice looking new edition of The Young Unicorns. I'm glad L'Engle was mentioned. I still find some challenging notions about faith, science and death in her books.
