I haven't followed this trial that closely but I doubt you can lay this all at the feet of a prosecutor. You have a once-loved celebrity figure who can afford great lawyers, all the whims and unpredictability of a jury of "peers" and the difficulty of proving a rape case more than a decade after the fact.

It's worth remembering though, this wasn't about the sheer number of women who came forward, just Andrea Constand. The jury is supposed to disregard any outside stories, which it probably did.
