I think he politely kept himself to the background, as he isn't on the trilogy writing team, like Pegg and Wright.

Okay then, but seriously: how many?
Seriously, I've been stuck in 'Gravity's Rainbow' for ages now, which is weird because I finished 'V' in a week or so, and now I also started on David Foster Wallace's 'Infinite Jest'; from what I can tell from the first 200 pages, I'll have my hands full on that one too.
Yes, 'The Brown Bunny' has been on my watchlist for way too long; it's about time I check it out. But from what I've heard, you've got to be in a certain, patient state of mind to fully appreciate it. I'm not really there at the moment, but I'll keep an eye out for a copy: no VOD or such here in Europe.
This movie kept me captivated 'till the very end - maybe it's just me, I do enjoy Vincent Gallo as an actor (Trouble Every Day, Arizona Dream, Tetro and his own Buffalo '66), a musician ('When' is a great album), and to a lesser extent as a provocative personality (he does tend to act quite full of himself). What he…
My guess is 'Music' by John Miles. Not because it's an awful song (which it is), but because Will.i.am is clearly not fond of it.
Seconded. And let's not forget it came out just a couple of years after Janet Jackson's awful 'Got 'till It's Gone', which sampled it - so their version is doubly stupid and superfluous. And I didn't even like the original.
I was thinking of 'wee' in the Irish sense, as in 'little', but yours is better.
My recap of this episode:
Agreed, and the dramatic organ thing was already on True Blood tonight, at the end of the catfight, and that was plenty for me. Two of those tunes in one night would have cost me a brand new television screen.
I'm thirty-one, but knowing that reference made me feel damn near fifty. Thanks a bunch, Farnsworth.
Yeah, people on film are weird with food, not to mention money. It seems like they're living in a weird parallel universe where you don't have to pay for food or drinks, unless it's part of a plot line.
Same here. I thought it was my bad memory - good to see I'm far from the only one missing that.
I love how I never remember episode titles, and still immediately knew what you meant. What a great episode indeed.
I might be wrong, but this love of musicals seems to me, a European from the mainland, a very American/British thing. The only people I know around here who truly, unironically enjoy musicals are women and some of my gay friends (actually not even that many of them), but I guess it's just a more inherent cultural…
He'll always be the guy with a crowded motel in his head from 'Identity'. If I spoiled that awful, awful movie for anybody: no need to thank me.
Also a stupid thing to notice, but still: in the car scene while taking pictures of the cheating husband, every time the camera cuts to Deb, the car window Elway's taking pictures through is clearly closed. Those photos would have mostly been of his own reflection.
I prefer Rutger Hauer when he's the mysterious villain, like in Sin City, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Hitcher and Blade Runner, which is kind of a disappointing twist. On the other hand, we do get to call him a fairy, so that's something.
'It’s a clip show! Apparently!'
what?
