We've also wondered whether the show will pull Ellen back from the edge. In a way I kinda hope they don't since so much of the show's history has been to reaffirm that Ellen is almost the same as Patty

Agreed that the titles aren't quite as fun as they used to be.

It was great, but it accomplished nothing. It was like: here's a whole bunch of information everyone already knows. Annnnnd scene! What was the point beyond indicating they're pursue Adalind (which was ALWAYS going to happen?)

Davis is on a new CW show in the Winter, so he's probably too busy for a Grimm cameo now. He would probably fit right into this show, though

We don't agree at all, Kevin. That was paint by numbers boring - nothing was interesting about the case of the week (and the placement of it alongside Juliette being forced home with Nick - a man she doesn't know - has strange implications). Pellegrino was completely wasted in a thankless role and the Coyotls were…

Some people have suggested that if Jesse had of gone instead of Walt this could have been avoided, but we think that this was the only logical way for this relationship to end. Mike has known who (what) Walter is since they first met and there was never any way that Walt would let him go. Insulting Heisenberg's pride…

Agree with a lot of your take, Carrie. I took a little more kindly to Andy's subplot, if only because of the sheer ridiculous, campiness of it all - though it could all go horribly wrong next season (raising 4 babies does not equal great TV).

I think the main issue with S2 has been its lack of "main plot": we didn't really know about the Garuda until 2x13 and haven't actually seen it since! I still think that Lost Girl knew what it was doing up until 2x13 and then these last 9 eps were a surprise by Showcase, because the plotting after that has been all…

Agree with Gutwrench Suplex…when you're writing these recaps as quickly as the peeps at AV Club are, you're allowed a little lee-way. It's really easy to criticize, and far harder to do all the writing.
