I used it in my film course on technology and I can 100% tell you it holds up. My students couldn't believe it was made in the late 90s. It's a solid directing piece from Scott, too - takes a lot of what he did well and packaged it in an entertaining way.

I actually really liked the Elder Fae: she was kooky, strange and memorable. And now dead…so let's move on.

The entire Tamara subplot felt even more pointless to me than usual. At least Val's was kinda in-character and held the Lacey and Jenna subplots together (since they failed to really even interact).

We would disagree - some of the numbers didn't work, but a few were interesting. Definitely don't want this to occur every week, but as an experiment, it's a decent exploration. Thought Cole was inspired, even if he wasn't completely successful.

This definitely felt like the most confident, enjoyable episode to date (I'm actually full-on, no word of a lie excited for next week's ep…so naturally it's the finale). Okay with Michelle getting some surfer love and stirring up barista related trouble, but I still hold out hope for the guy in the woods.

I, too, felt let down. The ridiculousness of killing Jackson twice in two weeks and then having him magically return as a werewolf in a "Terminator in the headlights" moment was BEYOND ridiculous (and not in the good, Teen Wolf, way). To me this just signals that the show won't kill its main cast, so there's no

Lukewarm is definitely the right word: as with a lot of Grimm episodes there are a number of interesting ideas lurking underneath the surface, but it's masked in some terrible elements. I didn't mind Elizabeth Mastrantonio's Mama Grimm, though you can tell that they're afraid she'll overwhelm the show so they've

I'll chime in with others that Vampire Mac was highly entertaining, but hopefully that means that between her and Hoyt, the show is still capable of making us FEEL something (anything?).

Really? I think it's completely natural considering the chemistry…

That would be fascinating! I doubt they'd ever take Dyson to THAT dark a place, but I'd be interested to see if someone can make the switch. We've already seen some pretty dark Light Fae and vice versa…
