The terrible to interesting ratio was about even this episode, so I'll give it a solid "meh" - which is par for the course at this point (our take: http://wp.me/p1VQBq-wD). The reveal about Andrew was the one that felt most obvious to me since I didn't really expect the triple-cross with Catherine (I figured the show

I have a feeling that people won't like this episode, but there was a lot of story to set up and we did get some pretty awesome reveals, even beyond the final flashback (our take here: http://wp.me/p1VQBq-wu). Did anyone else catch the fact that Victoria might have had another affair in her flashback with David

Love Jane and Brad - easily one of the best comedy couples on television (also partial to the Cougar Town pairings of Jules and Grayson). The idea of a Spring Smackdown is pretty clever.

It's frustrating that at a time (halfway through) it's initial run the show is ADDING characters instead of killing them off. We don't know much about any of these people, so introducing another person that we likely won't explore is a challenge.

I hated the episode for most of the reasons you praise (our take: http://wp.me/p1VQBq-ut): everything seemed safe and predictable. You're right that they didn't even need to show us the back story about Siobhan's kid because we all guessed it in the pilot! It felt like they didn't have anything new to explore, so they

Yeah…you definitely should not watch the two shows in proximity, because Revenge pretty much blows Ringer out of the water EVERY SINGLE TIME. Infinitely better show that owns its melodrama, campiness, but also actually knows how to stage and pace itself. It (and VD) are by far the fastest shows on television

The conflict with Shane definitely feels like it's been on the writers' minds since mid-season one, so it does have a "been there, done that" feel, even though this is just them paying it off. I wish that the support behind Dale - and now Lori's - accusations was more solid: we think he killed Otis and you could be

It really did seem like the case of the week just ended, didn't it? I guess we're supposed to assume that by killing Dr. Frank, the connection to Sean and the hive was destroyed (a few shades of Cronenberg there).

Yup - feel exactly the same way (ESPECIALLY number 4 - forseriously, if you had magical powers would you not be studying all the time to understand them better, especially if mysterious witchhunters were after you?!)

Felt the exact same way. There was a lot of "meh" in the episode, but the moment they finally got their act together (because they - duh - work better as a group instead of their random pairings) made me exclaim "Finally!"

This one really got to me (I knew Lando was Blackwell because it was on TVLine a few weeks back, so no surprise twist for me). I guess I just really expected that Lando was going to bring something new to the mix: that he would be suitably creepy, or his introduction would upset the general malaise. But it all ended

I've always felt that Parrila (Regina) is one of the few actors having fun with their role on this show (something Jennifer Morrison seems to continue to struggle with). Robert Carlyle continues to sell the hell out of a fairly hammy role, and while this wasn't a great piece for him or De Ravin, it was more

This was a great episode - even if the premise was overly familiar, it had a great Fringe-style execution (the special effects were fun and gory). The question becomes what's going on with Olivia and is it enough to convince Peter that he should stick around?

Agree that the episode was entertaining, though not as much as you (http://wp.me/p1VQBq-qN). The biggest issue was how the show feels like it's spinning its wheels instead of going for broke.

Thought that this was by far the best episode of the series. Despite some convoluted plotting, we finally got some development with Siobhan and Bridget is proving she's capable of figuring some of this out.

Ha ha - noticed the exact same thing about Diana's robe. In general the costume department smoked crack for this episode. Completely agree that there's a huge lack of suspense. It's especially tough when it's airing just after VD, too.

It's almost shocking how dull and protracted this pilot episode was. Who the hell was the editor on that travesty?!

Totally agree that the show should have more faith in its viewers, although perhaps because it's still going after family audiences, we're too "adult" for it. Here's hoping it never embraces the camp because I think that's one thing it's done fairly well - trading the line between serious drama and over the top romp.

Thought the episode was incredibly hilarious, especially Damon Wayans reaction to the fountain scene. Surprisingly Cuthbert held her own. Nice of the show to shake up the pairings.

We're unsure if people had different expectations for the finale than we did, but we never expected Brody to die in the finale. It seemed obvious that Damian Lewis is too much of an asset to the show to get rid of him. As you suggest, Todd, the finale wrapped things up well while still leaving narratives for next
