This is why I don't take them too seriously. Don't get me wrong, the song surrounds sensitive subject matter, and I'm in no way ignorant to it. I love the song for the instrumentation and the combination of a hip-hop beat with reggae upstrokes on the guitar. It's very simple but works really well.

While I understand some of the complaints surrounding Sublime, I will say that I'm still quite the fan, and the band has produced some outstanding material.
