I enjoyed the special looking back across the series more than this episode. There were some fun gags (I will always find Peter vs. Ernie hilarious, myself), but I'm just over the Brian and Stewie episodes. How crazy would it be if the next special, landmark celebration episode of Family Guy was actually about the

"Lincoln" was the only bit I saw, but it was fantastic. The part about the detective who had to solve his murder? I'm in stitches.

Yeah, that's definitely a lot further than what I'd say. I liked the direction this episode went and the things it set up, just thought the delivery was too plain. I think "Seed" and "Sick" were fantastic, though, and really look forward to the rest of the season.

Possibly, not necessarily. I wasn't looking for a big evil moment, where he gives a speech about world domination and steps on a baby, just some… well, flair. Give us a sense that this is an important character.

Ehh. This episode did nothing wrong, but it just kind of felt flat to me. The Governor's introduction didn't have the dramatic weight I would have liked. Just kinda shows up and starts talking, doesn't he? The reveal of his title really doesn't get its own moment either, which is strange to me. Focusing completely on

I felt like a lot of the dialog and character interactions in this episode were painfully cheesy and melodramatic. Not doing the best job of making the characters' emotions believable and endearing. I appreciate the depth they're trying to give the characters, but lines like "To honor your wishes, sometimes… I have to

This otherwise mediocre episode was 100% worth hearing Trey's Elvis impression.

Yeah. I cried.

Yeah. I cried.

Dynamite episode. I was really satisfied with the pacing: a lot of plot happened but it never felt like it was rushing from place to place. And man, was I surprised by them finding people living in the prison. Finally, thank God everyone is finally getting in on the fighting rather than standing around like tools
