Damn! I'm in China, so that shit can fly here. They trialled them for regular classes, but now only utilise the signal blockers during exams - because if there's one thing these fuckers (wonderful students) love, it's cheating.

As a youngster, I used to think the lyrics to that Paul Young song were:
"Every time you go away, you take a piece of meat with you"
Listen to the Simpsons DVD commentaries for the "classic years". You'll realise like I, that nearly everything in those episodes is a reference or homage to some other pop culture that had come before. Some obscure, some not so much - that depended on the writer.
Kramer is Batman
I have one in my classroom.
He's more than slightly annoying
It's time Donald Trump had some time alone

You might have got an international version. Because the way you're describing your VHS version, is exactly the version I saw at the cinema in Australia. However, it did have a harsher rating - MA15+, which I'm guessing is the same as an R in the States.
Not all the Saw sequels were awful (3, for example). And for a seven movie franchise they did a pretty good job of keeping continuity and theme. I think the Hostels, though probably inspired by Saw, took the gore to the next level.
Feel bad for you, Sam. If only you'd seen the version of Paranormal Activity that didn't end with demon eyes girl looking into camera. The original/alternate version just ends with her still sitting by the bed.
I thought "millennials" was a term used for the generation after yours/mine (I was born in '81). I would call our generation "Gen Y", which began around 1980, and those born after '94 to be millennials.

ScarJo will probably still LOOK like she's in her 40s, but by the mid 2030s, will actually be in her 50s.
