Shazam has failed me too many times

What would the legal situation of that be though? I know in some instances of voice acting, the actor owns the rights to their depiction of the character. Not sure how it works on the Simpsons.

TBS must have had too much better shit to show in the interim. Though obviously American Dad! is the only thing they have going for them.

Check out the Tori Amos version

Hells yeah to "Say, Say, Say" and "Don't Dream its Over"

I'm pretty sure the Simpsons have been doing that for most of their run - sometimes well, sometimes not so. It's all about how well they make the first five minutes lead into the "real" story.

See writers, these are the episodes that make it worth watching this show every week. My vote is for shorter seasons with more focused writing.

Wtf have they decided to do that?

Who knows? Maybe this time they will actually make it stick.

What!? I thought this season was done. It's been more than a month since the last episode.
Edit: Goddamn you are right. There's three more on the way.

If he's got anything going for him, it's that he's a very good voice actor. I'd say Roger is my fave of his.

I borrowed it from a joke on The Young Ones' "Demolition" - which i've just learnt is a play on a classical joke.

Jesus! Thanks. Don't know how the fuck I missed that. I even scrolled back up to check. Maybe it is my eyes I should be checking.

Just change "weakest instalment" of the season to "strongest instalment of the series" and you'll be maybe just a smidge closer to an accurate hyperbole for describing this episode. It was magnificent.
Also, I don't see why they'll have a problem not specifying which political party Selina belongs to. The writers have

Similar premise, but this week's just felt different. I wish I could explain it better than a 3rd-grader.

The presence of a wanking and scat-throwing monkey bumps this episode up to an easy A

Great tone to this episode. Can't think of any other like it in the series, though I can't put my finger on what makes it so different.
One thing that is apparent is how well spread out the gags were among the characters - no one really had the spotlight.
But I'll give my favourite line to Teddy this week:

He looks better than he did in Twins.

Dammit. Now i can't stop thinking about being shacked up with Vivica Fox.

His greatest moment was dying.
