Fair enough. Now that I think about it, I knew the ages of the actors, but not the ages they were playing in the show. Wow, 12 and 8 years younger is a bit of a stretch. It fits more with Jamie because he's definitely lived a harder life, at least physically, so he should look "beyond his years"

I was thinking "no wonder it's cold inside the car. The heater won't work unless the car is on", but then John's hallucination is revealed and bam, everything falls into place.

It's within reason to cast an 18 year old as a 16 year old for availability concerns, but when they start using mid-twenties and later actors for these teenage roles it just comes across as silly and obvious. One of the actors from Teen Wolf was 24 (and looked it) when she was playing a 17 year old. And you

I think that's why they chose Jared Leto for this role. He's just a naturally whiter-shade-of-pale motherfucker

Isn't that the norm for film and TV for the past few decades? - Older actors playing younger characters. It's certainly true of shows like Dawson's Creek, The OC, Teen Wolf, etc.

Nice work asking us to not reveal spoilers from the book, yet then revealing spoilers yourself a few sentences later.

Is it just me or does the old Flash getup look better than the new Flash getup?

You haven't heard many Aussie accents I'm assuming.

Forward or foreword?

They've gotta find him first

More Benjamins

I think you're referring to Armageddon (or take your pick of any Michael Bay movie)

Speaking of Garys, how about Gary Busey? He's crazy enough to pull this shit off

Still pretty good. She hasn't completely fallen of the map by any means. But now that I think of it, she is way too young to be on this list

You're thinking of the lesser-known Quaid brother Douglas

He's stellar as Mr. Fishoeder in Bob's Burgers. But, as you say, he should be in more stuff

Out of the ones mentioned, I'd have to go with Nicole Kidman as the "ageing" star I'd most like to see kick in a few rows of teeth on film. Perhaps alongside Uma Thurman in some sort of buddy-assassin post-apocalyptic thriller. Though, standing next to Nicole Kidman, Uma Thurman would look like Sarah-Jessica Parker.

What an awesome interview. More of the same please Mr A.V.

I'd continue on that and say that I haven't really liked Ava's plotline in the current season either. Hasn't affected the season badly, just seems like she's continually flip-flopping
